Chalet instructions
General
This is our home, so please look after it the way you would want visitors to treat your home. As you will notice the chalet comes fully stacked with books, DVD's, card games, magazines, towels etc. Feel free to use them but please leave everything that belongs to the chalet there. There is one area in the chalet marked as PRIVATE which is locked. Please refrain from opening it or tampering with the lock.
Please remove your shoes in the wet room or in the hallway of the main entrance. We kindly request you walk around in socks or slippers whenever possible. This way the chalet remains clean for everyone as no gravel or melted snow gets dragged around.
Heating in the Chalet
NEVER turn off the entire heating system.
The living room has 3 electrical heating systems and all rooms/bathrooms have separate electrical heating systems. You can change the temperature of each electrical heating unit depending on how hot/cold you want the chalet. However, please NEVER turn of the electrical heating systems completely in winter as the pipes might freeze. This is very important. Should the electrical heaters become too hot, please lower the temperature, but again, do NOT shut them off completely.
Washing Machine and Dryer
They are available for your convenience on the lowest level of the chalet in one of the bathrooms.
Internet/TV/Music System
Wi-Fi is available throughout the living room and first floor. The Wi-Fi name is Jaliver and the password is "jakeoliver".
TV is available via local cable and acces to the DVD/Blu-ray player is provided. A small selection of DVD’s is also available at your convenience.
A Bose music system is provided with Bluetooth connection.
Fire Place
Wood for the fire place is available outside the chalet. You can use it at your convenience.
Please make sure to keep an eye on the fire place at all times. It's strictly prohibited to leave the chalet while there is still an active fire in the fire place. Please make sure that the fire is out when you exit the chalet or when you go to sleep.
Flashlights
There are flashlights available for your use at night. Should you decide to walk to the centre of Nendaz they are helpful to walk up/down Route des Cleves as there is no lighting along the road.
Smoke Detectors and Fire Spray canisters
There are 2 smoke detectors in the chalet. A loud sound will warn you in case of a potential fire hazard.
On each floor you will also find a large red Fire Spray canister which can be used to put out any small fires that might happen in the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom.
Trash
There is no trash collection. Please take away all trash and leave it in the public bins. These are located on the main road. If you exit the chalet you make a right turn and the public bins are located just before the hairpin bend. There are large blue IKEA bags in the kitchen which you can use to transport glass or other trash bags. Please remove all perishables from the fridge upon check-out.

In case of emergency call:
118 for fire brigage
